CHUCK MARTEN is a crime novelist currently living outside of Baltimore. He worked his way through college as a hospital orderly and practiced medicine for twenty years in New York City and the Washington DC area, which is to say that he has plenty of experience cleaning up other people’s messes. Most of his writing results from sleep deprivation.
